An official September 28 update confirms the new campus is open and the old site stopped all clinical services from September 30. Routes 2, 17, 22 and 501 serve the campus, and official information says parking is free from October through March.

This is the post-move status

A September 28 city-government update confirms the new campus is operating and the old campus stopped all clinical services from September 30. Travellers should not use an old saved address; verify 'new campus' and the Changnan New Area location in maps and ride-hailing.

This supersedes the earlier planning stage. For an emergency, call 120 and follow responders rather than using a travel article to choose a department or hospital.

Bus and parking information

Official information says routes 2, 17, 22 and 501 now reach the campus, which has more than 2,000 parking spaces; on-site parking is described as free from October through March. Recheck stop names, service times and temporary changes with the bus operator that day.

Free parking does not guarantee a space or cover ride-hailing waits or unrelated car parks. Drivers must use signed pickup areas and keep emergency access clear.

Preparation for an international patient

Carry the original passport, insurance details, medicine list, allergies and an emergency contact, plus the hotel's Chinese address. Registration, payment, interpretation and direct billing vary by department, time and policy and must be confirmed on site.

A guide may assist with language and transport but cannot diagnose or guarantee reimbursement. Call 120 immediately for chest pain, breathing difficulty, severe bleeding, altered consciousness or another emergency.
