A September 25 Jingdezhen Tourism notice lists free on-site group interpretation at 10:00, 11:00, 15:00 and 16:00 daily from October 1–7, plus limited monitoring-centre access at 10:30 and 15:30 on October 2–3.

How the free interpretation works

The notice says admitted visitors may join free without advance booking. Groups form on site and a session proceeds with five or more people. Interpretation covers the five spatial areas of the handmade-porcelain heritage property, traditional skills and the global circulation expressed by “wares made here travel under heaven.”

No reservation does not guarantee an immediate talk. Crowd conditions, temporary management or fewer than five participants may affect timing. Arrive early, confirm the meeting point with official staff and do not pay an individual for alleged access.

The monitoring centre is limited to October 2–3

The source separately lists limited access to the heritage monitoring centre at 10:30 and 15:30 on October 2 and 3, introducing conservation monitoring. This is not permission to enter every heritage component and does not imply normal-day opening.

International visitors using passports should ask about document checks, language and capacity. Confirm professional cameras, tripods and groups in advance, and do not photograph restricted surveillance displays, backend data or sensitive site information.

Turn the program into responsible heritage visiting

Use public entrances and routes only. Do not cross barriers, touch or remove remains, or enter production, restoration or closed space. Ask before photographing residents, craftspeople or workshop interiors.

Dates and times come from the September 25 preview; same-day Jingdezhen Tourism, heritage-centre and on-site notices control. If weather or crowds change access, use the permanent display rather than seeking unpublished sites.
