A new venue roundup says Pipa Pavilion, Xunyang Tower and Suojiang Tower will be admission-free to all visitors from September 25, 2026 through September 24, 2027. Free admission does not mean no booking, all-day access or zero transport cost.
What the notice confirms
The source lists a one-year free-admission period for three riverfront cultural landmarks, allowing a Jingdezhen ceramic trip to connect with Jiujiang's Yangtze, architecture and literary history. The start is September 25; visitors from September 21 to 24 should not apply it early.
The same passage does not promise daily hours, document checks, booking or that every interior item is free. Check each attraction's current notice.
Do not force the extension into one day
Jingdezhen to Jiujiang is an intercity segment. Check official rail or coach schedules before deciding whether to stay overnight. If Lushan is also planned, do not compress the three riverfront sites, core mountain attractions and a return to Jingdezhen into one day.
Travelers with ceramic cartons, children or seniors need margin for stations, hotel storage and walking. For an intercity private car, confirm licensing, distance, tolls, driver rest and return.
A free route still has four budgets
Budget for intercity transport, local transfer, food and accommodation, plus any interpretation or internal items. During holidays, free attractions may still limit entry or create queues.
International visitors should carry the original passport and ask which documents are supported. A multilingual guide may connect literary and ceramic context, while admission and opening remain with each manager.
