The announced fair runs October 16–19 from 15:00 to 22:00 daily, with maker applications closing at 24:00 on September 27. Vendor registration is not visitor ticketing.

Published timing

An August 27 report schedules the 2026 Taoxichuan Autumn Fair for October 16–19 at Taoxichuan, daily 15:00–22:00, with maker applications closing at 24:00 on September 27.

Food, traditional and contemporary craft, interactive installations, teaching workshops and performance are described. Visitor admission, map and program still require later organizer notices.

What visitors can do now

Reserve a half-day or evening at Taoxichuan and avoid overlapping a non-refundable workshop. Compare Taoxichuan and People's Square accommodation, but do not pay an unusually high non-refundable rate only because of the event.

Plan for crowds, valuables, separated children and fragile-purchase packing; check last buses and ride-hailing pickup before leaving.

Overseas makers need the correct process

The report includes international-artist workshops among the target groups, but eligibility, transport, IP, tax, visa and sales rules must be confirmed through the official maker channel. Visitor access is not the vendor application.

A multilingual guide may assist general communication; organizer and professional authorities control contracts, customs and admission.
