Zhushan authorities addressed encroachment, illegal parking and unsafe structures on the west side of Taoyang New Village on September 18, reported September 20. Visitors should prioritize clear routes, electrical safety and legal pickup points before shopping.
What the operation addressed
The report says the market has more than 500 stalls and that the western link between Taoyi Street and Jingde Avenue is important for crowd and vehicle flow. Encroachment, illegal parking, oversized canopies, improvised lighting and piles of cartons and foam had created traffic and fire risks.
The joint operation largely cleared the blockage and unsafe structures, but crowd, parking and stall layout are not identical every night. Follow staff and temporary routing.
Leave space while shopping
Do not stop for long photographs at crossings, fire equipment, electrical lines or narrow passages. Move inside the stall edge to discuss price and packing. Children should not touch wiring, frames, heat sources or stacked cartons.
Confirm maker, defects, price, packing and delivery and retain payment evidence. Ask before photographing a seller or detailed work; an open market is not permission to copy design.
Pickup and return
Save the hotel's Chinese address and the permitted pickup point, then call a car after leaving the densest lane. Do not ask a driver to wait in a side road, fire route or managed traffic zone, and do not sort cartons in the carriageway.
Shorten the visit after rain, excessive crowding or continued on-site enforcement. This article does not promise a fixed stall count or daily schedule; same-day notices control.
