China's culture ministry calls for orderly viewing and compliance with filming rules. At a kiln-site performance, verify heritage boundaries, night surfaces, temporary gates and post-show transport.
Establish the event and access rule
A residency, festival, free program and ticketed show use different rules. Verify organizer, date, session, gate, ID, seating, child policy, cancellation and wet-weather plan; a short video is not tonight's program.
Heritage and performance hours may differ. A ticket never permits entry into fenced archaeology, work areas or homes.
Viewing and filming follow the site
The ministry guide calls for timely, orderly entry and compliance with filming rules. Turn off flash and loud audio. Do not block routes with drones, lights, tripods or livestream equipment; commercial work needs permission.
Do not touch remains, kiln tools or props or remove shards. Older, child and limited-mobility visitors should check steps, stone surfaces, toilets and seating.
Decide the exit before entry
Save the hotel in Chinese, agree a reunion point and confirm ride-hailing, last bus or reserved-car pickup. Keep fire lanes, narrow alleys and heritage gates clear after the show.
Weather, crowds and conservation can change a program. Live management controls, and a multilingual guide cannot override site boundaries.
