普通陶瓷并不因易碎而自动成为铁路禁限带品，但作品尺寸、重量、包装及其中附带的液体、工具或燃料须分别核验。本攻略把购买、打包、进站和车上存放拆开处理。
Ordinary ceramics are not automatically prohibited simply because they are fragile, but size, weight, packing and any accompanying liquids, tools or fuel must be checked separately. This guide separates purchase, packing, screening and onboard storage.
先判断“瓷器”之外还有什么
杯、碗、花瓶和已烧成作品通常应按普通易碎物理解；拉坯工具、刀具、喷雾、酒精、未标识粉末、釉料和其他化学品则要按各自属性核验。国家铁路局与公安部目录列明多类禁止或限制物品，不能因为它们与陶艺课一起购买就一并视作普通纪念品。
出发前在铁路12306或车站官方渠道查看最新携带规则。作品若年代、来源或文物属性不明，还需另行咨询有权机构，铁路安检通过不等于跨境携带合规。
包装要能过安检也能在车上放稳
让卖家把盖、把手、壶嘴、细颈和主体分别缓冲，器物之间不直接接触；外箱写上姓名、电话和目的地，并保留开箱检查后可重新封装的材料。不要把多个重箱只用细绳捆在一起。
购票后核对所乘列车和席别适用的免费携带品尺寸、重量及数量。包装必须能由本人安全搬运，并能放入指定行李位置；不能占座、堵塞通道、车门或消防设施。
进站、换乘与破损预案
至少比轻装旅客多留出安检和重新打包时间。换乘时减少短间隔和上下楼；大件或多箱作品可向车站询问正规托运或快运方案，不把网约车送到站等同于已完成进站交接。
拍摄作品、包装过程、购物凭证和封箱状态，贵重作品单独询问保险与理赔条件。到站后先检查外箱，再在安全位置开箱；发现破损时保留包装、车票和照片。包车可减少市内换乘，但铁路规则仍以承运方当日要求为准。
Identify everything besides the ceramic
A fired cup, bowl, vase or artwork is generally treated as an ordinary fragile object. Trimming tools, blades, aerosols, alcohol, unlabelled powder, glaze and other chemicals must each be assessed by their own properties. The national rail catalogue lists many prohibited or restricted items; being purchased with a pottery class does not turn them into ordinary souvenirs.
Check the latest rule through Railway 12306 or the station before departure. An old or unclear-provenance object may also require competent-authority advice; passing rail security does not establish that it may cross an international border.
Pack for screening and stable storage
Ask the seller to cushion lids, handles, spouts, narrow necks and bodies separately, with no direct ceramic-to-ceramic contact. Mark the carton with name, phone and destination, and keep materials that allow resealing after inspection. Do not bind several heavy cartons with thin cord alone.
After ticketing, verify the size, weight and quantity allowance for the train and seat class. You must be able to move the package safely and place it in an approved luggage area; it may not occupy a seat or obstruct aisles, doors or safety equipment.
Screening, transfer and damage plan
Allow more time than a light traveler for screening and repacking. Avoid short transfers and repeated stairs. Ask the station about authorized checked or express options for multiple or oversized cartons; a car reaching the station is not the same as a completed rail handover.
Photograph the work, packing, receipt and sealed carton, and ask separately about insurance for valuable pieces. Inspect the outer box on arrival and open it in a safe place. Retain packing, ticket and images after damage. A private car reduces city transfers, while current railway rules still control.
