Jingdezhen continues to improve inbound and language services, while studios remain dispersed across Sanbao, the Sculpture Porcelain Factory and small city lanes. A half-day car plan should place confirmed visits, waiting limits and return points in one written brief.

Confirm studios before the vehicle

A studio may require an appointment and may sit in a courtyard or lane a vehicle cannot enter. Obtain the Chinese address, contact, visit window, activity, photography rule and expected finish before asking the driver to identify a legal pickup point.

A half day normally fits two studios in the same general direction plus one coffee or lunch buffer. Do not compress deep Sanbao, the Sculpture Porcelain Factory, Taoyangli and a rural kiln into four hours.

Put five items in the quotation

Confirm vehicle and driver, service start and finish, included distance, parking and waiting, overtime rate and cancellation. If English is needed, determine whether the driver offers basic communication or a separate English guide or ceramic interpreter is assigned; these are different roles.

State passenger count, luggage, fragile works, child seat and mobility needs. Do not pay extra to wait illegally or enter a closed residential or production area.

Use a one-page day sheet

Record the hotel's Chinese name, both studio addresses and phones, booking name, pickup points, latest return and one alternative if a visit cancels. Send the same bilingual sheet to traveler, driver and coordinator.

If a class overruns or a work needs shipping, call the next stop and revise the plan rather than idling in a narrow lane. Chinese, English, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Korean guides may be matched in advance, while studio, community and traffic rules still apply.
