Build the quotation around your actual trips

Tell us how many trips you expect each week, whether the days are fixed and whether a typical booking is around 4-5 hours. Include the pickup location, studio names, passenger count and luggage or ceramic purchases.

A half-day request still needs a defined route and service window. Studio waiting time, mileage, extra stops, parking, tolls and overtime must be agreed. A possible weekly pattern is not a confirmed block booking.

Choose the right level of English support

An English-speaking guide who also drives can assist with on-site translation, including communication with the teacher, understanding the activity steps and explaining what you would like to make. Tell us the lesson and timing when booking.

Describe the conversations you need help with: arrivals, studio introductions, purchasing or a technical class. Driver language ability and any guide or interpreting fee should be confirmed before the booking.

Transport and studio access are separate

A vehicle booking does not include studio permission, tuition, materials, kiln access or guaranteed appointments. Confirm each studio's visitor policy and class arrangements separately.

Bring the Chinese studio names or map pins where possible. Leave room for appointments to run longer and agree on how a change of plan affects the price.

Before confirming repeated use

Ask for written dates and hours, the confirmed service level, the total price and the payment and cancellation terms. A repeat schedule can be discussed without assuming an automatic discount or the same driver every time.

If your plan changes during the residency, request an updated quotation before adding trips. Accommodation, studio rental and the residency program itself are separate from this transport request.
